Peer review process
QuantumWay Journal uses double-anonymized peer review by default: reviewers don't see author names or affiliations, and authors don't see reviewer identities. Please anonymize your manuscript file accordingly before submission.
Editorial screening
Checked for scope, completeness, and originality before review begins.
Reviewer assignment
An associate editor assigns at least two independent reviewers in the relevant sub-field.
Review
Reviewers assess novelty, rigor, and clarity, typically within 3–4 weeks.
Decision
Accept, minor revision, major revision, or reject — with reviewer comments shared in full.
Revision & re-review
Revised manuscripts return to the original reviewers where possible.
We target a first decision within 4–6 weeks of submission. That's a working target, not a guarantee - timing depends on reviewer availability, especially in a launch period.
Appeals
Authors may appeal a rejection once, in writing, to the Editor-in-Chief, who will assign an editor uninvolved in the original decision to review the appeal.
Reviewing for us
We welcome reviewer applications from qualified researchers with an ORCID iD and a publication record in a relevant sub-field. Reviewers receive a formal acknowledgment for each completed review.
