We publish gold open access: every article is freely readable, downloadable, and reusable the moment it's published - not after an embargo, and never behind a subscription. Publication is funded by a single article processing charge paid after acceptance, described in full under Article processing charges.

As a launching title, our early priorities are getting three things right: a peer review process that is rigorous but not slow, a cost structure that doesn't shut out researchers based on where they work, and a preservation and indexing setup - Crossref, Portico, and Scilit, that's in place before the first article is even accepted, rather than added later.

Researchers working in quantum computing, quantum information science, quantum materials and devices, quantum sensing, and adjacent engineering and policy work - whether from a university, national lab, or industry research group, at any career stage.
