Crossref - persistent identifiers

Every published article is registered with Crossref and receives a permanent DOI (Digital Object Identifier) that resolves to its landing page for as long as the DOI system exists - independent of our own website's future. Crossref also links reference lists between publishers, powers citation tracking, and provides the Similarity Check service we use to screen submissions.

Portico - digital preservation

Content is deposited with Portico, a not-for-profit, community-supported digital archive that preserves e-journals in a secure "dark archive." Portico's role is to guarantee that if anything ever happens to this journal or its publisher, a trigger event releases the preserved content for continued access - so a reader's ability to reach an article never depends solely on our own servers staying online.

Scilit - real time discovery

QuantumWay Journal's articles are indexed in Scilit, a free, comprehensive scholarly database maintained by MDPI that pulls new metadata from Crossref daily. In practice this means an article can appear in Scilit search results within hours of publication, well before it would typically reach larger, slower-moving citation indexes.

What comes next

Indexes such as DOAJ, Scopus, and Web of Science evaluate journals against an established publication history — typically a completed volume or two - before listing them. We will apply to each once Volume 1 is complete, and this page will be updated the moment any new listing is confirmed. We won't claim an indexing relationship before it's actually in place.
